Oxfordshire barn from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for sale
A converted barn which featured in the 1968 film, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is now on the market in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Situated next to 300 acres of bluebell woodlands, the five-bedroom home, known as Kiln Barn, is the perfect rural idyll. Fans of the children's film will recognise the property from when Truly Scrumptious, played by Sally Ann Howes, swerves into a pond to avoid hitting Jeremy and Jemima Potts.
The house also appears in a second scene, this time when Caractacus Potts almost crashes into Truly with Chitty, veering off into the water again. Caractacus walks in and carries her out before insisting she comes with them for a ride.
The barn is in the hamlet of Russell's Water, a place of pilgrimage for lovers of the magical flying car.
