Insane in the Brain! Cypress Hill’s B-Real Is Selling His SoCal Home

B Real of Cypress Hill

We’ve found a house for sale for fans of old-school rap. Cypress Hill rapper Louis Freese, otherwise known as the distinctive rhyme slayer B-Real, is selling his traditional-style home in Northridge, CA, for $1.5 million.

Built in 1989, the home sits on a large lot and measures 4,818 square feet. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, high ceilings, a sport court, and a pool. The two-story home also features a chef’s kitchen, but if you don’t feel like cooking you can head down the street to In-N-Out Burger to satisfy any munchies.

The home’s list price is far from insane in the brain. It does chart as one of the 10 most expensive homes in Northridge right now. However, with a price of $311 per square foot, the rapper’s delight is right in line with the median list price per square foot for the city—$305.

Freese, 46, co-created the pot-loving rap group Cypress Hill in 1991. Previously a gang member, Freese now lives the luxe life thanks to his memorable verses and nasal-voiced delivery. The group created a number of memorable songs throughout the ’90s, including “How I Could Just Kill a Man,” “Latin Lingo” and “I Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That.”
