Sheep Cool Down Inside Oregon Apartment Amid Heat Wave
Three sheep cooled off inside an air-conditioned apartment at an animal sanctuary in Lake Oswego, Oregon, on June 27, as the Pacific Northwest suffered days of record high temperatures.
Kristen Tyler, the founder of ReWild Farm Sanctuary filmed this video. She told Storyful that she brought the sheep into her barn apartment to provide relief from the 114 degree Fahrenheit heat outside.
“Since they have wool coats, there is no real way to cool them down,” she said.
At least 63 people died from health issues related to the heat wave, Oregon Live reported, citing local authorities.
