Stocks in Malaysia gained 0.3%, Taiwan and the Philippines each edged 0.1% higher, while Thailand equities dipped 0.1%. Annual inflation in Indonesia eased to 2.51% in June, its lowest level in nine months, according to data, but came within the central bank's target range of 1.5% to 3.5%.
