The company owns interests in a coal mining concession that covers an area of approximately 3,238 hectares located in District Palaran, Samarinda, East Kalimantan; and coal concessions covering approximately 2,143 hectares located in North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatera province. It offers mining support and coal transportation services. The company also exports its products. The company was formerly known as PT Eatertainment International Tbk and changed its name to PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk in August 2012. PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk was founded in 1980 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As of October 18, 2023, PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk operates as a subsidiary of PT Geo Energy Investama.
