Starbucks customers will soon have a new way to get their coffee delivered: Grubhub. It’s a boon for the coffee giant, but for the delivery platform, the benefit is less clear. On Thursday, the coffee chain and Grubhub announced a partnership that will launch in select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois starting this month.
Starbucks is teaming up with Grubhub as it tries to boost sales after a challenging quarter.
Starbucks delivery has been available on DoorDash in the U.S. since last year. It also has tie-ups with Uber Eats and Postmates, the food delivery arms of Uber. Starbucks said it witnessed double-digit growth in the U.S. delivery business this past quarter.
