UPDATE 2-Soccer-Makeshift Manchester United thumped 4-0 by Crystal Palace

Michael Olise scored a brace of goals as Crystal Palace completed a league double over Manchester United for the first time in their history with a thumping 4-0 victory at Selhurst Park on Monday that will add to the pressure on Erik ten Hag. A makeshift United defence that included Casemiro at centre-back was easily picked apart by Palace on several occasions as Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell were also on the scoresheet in the impressive win. United remain in eighth place with 54 points from 35 games, two points behind Newcastle United in sixth, with their hopes of European football next season fading fast.

Soccer-Premier League referee to wear camera for first time in Palace v Man United clash

Referee Jarred Gillett will wear a camera for the first time in Premier League history during Monday's fixture between Crystal Palace and Manchester United as part of filming for a one-off programme promoting match officials, the league said on Monday. Last year, the Football Association announced it will trial body cameras on referees in grassroots leagues in England in a bid to ascertain whether the technology could help "improve participant behaviour and respect towards referees". The Bundesliga also used the 'RefCam' for the first time during a 2-2 draw between Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg in February.
