UPDATE 2-Embraer reports smaller quarterly loss, reaffirms 2024 outlook

Brazilian planemaker Embraer reported a smaller adjusted net loss for the first quarter on Tuesday, helped by a surge in aircraft deliveries, and reaffirmed its outlook for the full year. The world's third-largest planemaker after Airbus and Boeing said in a securities filing its quarterly adjusted net loss stood at $12.8 million, less than the $88.9 million loss it posted a year earlier. The improved results came in as Embraer delivered a total 25 jets in the period, 67% more than a year ago, leading its net revenues to jump 25% to $897 million in a period in which deliveries are seasonally weaker.
