Apple's WWDC, May CPI, Fed decision: What to watch

Yahoo Finance's Julie Hyman breaks down what investors should watch next week. Apple (AAPL) will be hosting its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), where investors will get a first look at the tech giant's AI strategy. On Monday, Nvidia (NVDA) shares will start trading on a split-adjusted basis. The company completed a 10-for-1 stock split on Friday after the close. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve will announce its next monetary policy decision. While no rate cuts are expected, an updated dot plot will be released. In addition, May's Consumer Price Index (CPI) will be released ahead of the Fed decision. Major tech earnings are expected, including those of companies like Oracle (ORCL), Broadcom (AVGO), and Adobe (ADBE). Finally, on Thursday, Tesla (TSLA) shareholders will vote on CEO Elon Musk's compensation package. For more expert insight and the latest market action, click here to watch this full episode. Broadcom is the 'best AI story' after Nvidia: Analyst

As Broadcom (AVGO) prepares to report earnings next week, Bernstein managing director and senior analyst Stacy Rasgon joins Market Domination to discuss his bull case on the company. Rasgon explains that Broadcom has several different business segments, from semiconductors and software to infrastructure. "They also have what I would call the second-best AI story in the space I think after Nvidia," he adds. He breaks down how Broadcom partners with tech giants like Google (GOOG, GOOGL) and Meta (META), who are making and scaling their own chips. He adds, "[AI] networking, frankly, is just as important as the compute. And they're the 800-pound gorilla there." He explains that Broadcom's current guidance for its AI revenues this year is more than $10 billion, about a third of its overall semiconductor business.
