Kumiai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells agrochemicals in Japan and internationally. The company's agricultural chemicals include herbicides, such as bensulfuron-methyl, bispyribac-sodium, fenoxasulfone, fenquinotrione, pyriminobac-methyl, pyrimisulfan, pyrithiobac-sodium, pyroxasulfone, and thiobencarb; fungicides, including benthiavalicarb-isopropyl, dichlobentiazox, mepanipyrim, mepronil, and pyribencarb; prohexadione-calcium; and fine chemicals comprising chlorotoluenes, chlorobenzyl chlorides, chlorobenzotrichlorides, chlorobenzaldehydes, chlorobenzoyl chlorides, phenoxyphenols, and phosphines. It also offers amine curing agents for urethane and epoxy resins. The company was formerly known as Ihara Agrochemical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Kumiai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in October 1968. Kumiai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 1928 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
