The company sells electricity to local grid companies. It also offers repair and maintenance; investment management; and finance leasing services. The company was formerly known as Beijing Jingneng Energy Technology Investment Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Limited in August 2010. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in Beijing, the People' Republic of China. Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Limited operates as a subsidiary of Beijing Energy Holding Co.,Ltd.
