UK's Segro buys three logistics warehouses in Netherlands for $237 million

(Reuters) -Britain's Segro has acquired three fully leasedlogistics warehouses in the Netherlands for 222 million euros ($237.4 million), the warehousing group said on Thursday.

The acquired assets, totalling 172,300 square metres, have a net initial yield of 4.6%, the UK-based real estate investment trust (REIT) said in a statement.

Segro said it bought the warehouses in the cities of Eindhoven, Heerlen and Tilburg through separate transactions. All three assets offer significant returns, the majority of which are expected to be realised over the next four years, it added.

London-headquartered Segro, which operates in Britain and seven other European countries, said the warehouse in the Vossenberg industrial estate in Tilburg was acquired from abrdn, and is currently leased to Tesla.
