Russian court rejects Navalny mother's case alleging improper medical care, ally says

MOSCOW, March 21 (Reuters) - A Russian court in the city of Labytnangi has rejected a lawsuit by Lyudmila Navalnaya, the mother of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, over improper medical care, Navalny's ally Ivan Zhdanov said on Thursday.

Alexei Navalny, Vladimir Putin's most prominent domestic opponent, died last month, aged 47, in an Arctic penal colony. (Reporting by Reuters; editing by Guy Faulconbridge)
