Primark launches ‘click and collect’ in London

Fast fashion giant Primark has launched ‘click and collect’ services in Greater London, expanding its trial for childrens’ clothes to 32 stores in and around the capital.

Customers will now be able to select children’s clothing online and pick it up in store at locations such as Hackney, Hammersmith, Oxford Street and both Westfield shopping centres. Primark noted that the launch comes” just in time for the back-to-school season”.

It also noted that the launch means that customers will now be able to pick up items that might only be available at the largest primark stores at a much wider range of sites.

Orders must be at least £10 and are available to collect from two days after they have been placed.

The trial had initially covered 25 stores in the North West of England.

Kari Rodgers, UK retail director at Primark, said: “It’s a really exciting moment for us as we take our Click and Collect trial to the next level and bring it to 32 of our stores in and around London. This means the service is now available in around a third of our UK stores, giving even more customers the added choice and convenience Click and Collect offers and complementing experience within our stores.

“The feedback we’ve had from customers in the stores already in the trial has been really encouraging so we’re looking forward to learning more as we expand the trial further.”
