Premium Bonds: Were you a winner in the May 2023 draw?

Were you one of the lucky winners in May’s National Savings and Investments (NS&I) premium bonds draw?

Once again, two lucky players won £1m each this month.

The first winning bond number drawn was 350FG197341 and is held by a winner based in Nottingham. The winner holds £50,000 in premium bonds and purchased their winning bond in January 2019

The second winning bond number drawn was 371JL524811 and belongs to a winner based in Sefton, Merseyside. The winner has £46,525 in premium bonds and purchased their winning bond in October 2019.

For the May 2023 draw, NS&I paid out over 5 million prizes of more than £333m in value.

The total paid out by NS&I in the 65 years since the first draw in July 1957 now stands at £25.7bn, from 621 million prizes.

As well as the two £1m bonds, there are 63 winners of £100,000, 125 of £50,000, 250 of £25,000, some 625 worth £10,000 and 1,254 with a £5,000 prize.

The chances of all bonds winning are the same, regardless of when or where they were bought. Even if you did not get a winning ticket, be sure to check any unclaimed prizes.

Prizes do not expire, meaning you can claim as far back as the original 1957 draw. Premium bonds holders can reduce the chances of their prizes becoming unclaimed by managing their Premium Bonds online or opting to have any prizes paid directly into their bank accounts by BACS, with notification by email.
