Potential takeover talks between Doordash and Deliveroo stall - Reuters

Investing.com - DoorDash Inc (NASDAQ:DASH), the prominent American meal delivery company, has expressed interest in acquiring Deliveroo (OTC:DROOF) Holdings (LON:ROO), a leading British food delivery service, sources close to the matter told Reuters on Tuesday.

The San Francisco-based company approached Deliveroo, which is listed in London, last month regarding a potential takeover. However, the discussions were short-lived due to differences over the company's valuation, stated one of the insiders, who chose to remain anonymous due to the private nature of the information.

At present, there are no ongoing negotiations between the two companies.

Representatives from both Doordash and Deliveroo declined to comment.
