North Sea Crude- Trafigura buys Forties, programmes in focus
LONDON, June 27 (Reuters) - North Sea Forties crude differentials rose on Thursday after Trafigura bought a cargo and made a higher bid, while U.S. WTI Midland weakened further. PROGRAMMES * August loading programmes for Forties and Ekofisk emerged on Thursday, pointing to tighter and steady supply respectively. PLATTS WINDOW * Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP). * Forties: Trafigura bought from Total CIF Rotterdam July 9-13 at dated Brent plus $2.60, equating to around dated plus $1.32 on a FOB basis, according to Reuters calculations. * Forties: Trafigura bid July 7-24 at dated Brent plus $1.50, resulting in an average of dated plus $1.44 for Forties, up from Wednesday. * WTI Midland: Trafigura bid CIF Rotterdam July 16-21 at dated plus $2.20 and there were offers from Glencore and Aramco at dated plus $2.40. * The mid point of dated plus $2.30 equated to around dated plus $1.14 on a FOB basis, according to Reuters calculations, cheaper than the Forties value.
