Nordea Asset Management’s 12 flagship funds now available for retail distribution in Singapore

The 12 funds were previously only available to institutional and accredited investors in Singapore.

Nordea Asset Management (NAM) has announced that 12 of its flagship funds are now available for retail distribution in Singapore via licensed financial intermediaries and distributors.

This follows the Monetary Authority of Singapore recognising the Luxembourg-domiciled funds for retail distribution in the city state, serving as NAM’s first retail registered funds in the Asia Pacific region.

The 12 funds were previously only available to institutional and accredited investors in Singapore. It consists of three equity funds, four thematic equity funds, two fixed income funds and three multi-asset funds.

NAM Singapore CEO and head of Asia Pacific distribution Ana Dhoraisingam says the firm is confident that the strategies will be able to better address the ever-evolving investment needs and preferences of Singapore’s mass affluent and retail segments.

“The 12 funds that have been registered in Singapore as recognised schemes, will be distributed by licensed financial intermediaries and banks in Singapore,” she adds.
