Law firm Bennett Jones appoints Dominique Hussey as CEO - The Globe and Mail

Nov 13 (Reuters) - Toronto-based law firm Bennett Jones has appointed Dominique Hussey as its new chief executive officer, the Globe and Mail reported on Monday.

The company also appointed John Mercury as the Alberta-based executive chair, the report said.

The appointees will take over the reins on Jan. 1 from Hugh MacKinnon, the firm's chair and CEO for the past 18 years, the report added.

The Canadian law firm has around 500 lawyers and business advisors across its seven offices in the U.S. and Canada, the company's website said.

Bennett Jones did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment. (Reporting by Baranjot Kaur in Bengaluru; Editing by Shailesh Kuber)
