Keppel REIT replaces Olam Group in STI reserve list

The changes from the latest review will take effect at the start of business on Sept 18.

Keppel REIT K71U has replaced Olam Group VC2 in the Straits Times Index’s (STI) reserve list. The list comprises five of the highest non-ranking constituents according to their market capitalisation.

The change was reflected in the benchmark index’s quarterly review on Aug 31.

The other four companies on the reserve list are – in alphabetical order – CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS), Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT), Keppel DC REIT and Suntec REIT.

There were no changes to the index’s constituents.

The changes from the latest review will take effect at the start of business on Sept 18. The next review will take place in December.

Units in Keppel REIT closed 0.5 cents higher or 0.58% up at 86.5 cents while shares in Olam Group closed 1 cent higher or 0.81% up at $1.25 on Aug 31.
