Jokowi to speak at Temasek's Ecosperity Week conference in June

Indonesia’s president will speak in person at Temasek's Ecosperity Week conference on June 7.

Indonesia’s president Joko Widodo has been announced as one of the speakers at Temasek’s Ecosperity Week conference next week. Jokowi is scheduled to deliver a speech titled “Realising Nusantara, Indonesia’s New National Capital City” in person at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre on June 7.

According to a media briefing by Temasek on May 31, Jokowi is expected to speak about Nusantara, the future capital city of Indonesia in East Kalimantan province. Jokowi formally ratified the plan in August 2019, and it is expected to replace Jakarta as the nation’s capital following its inauguration in August 2024.
