SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Flexible living brand Hmlet will open its first hotel, Owen House by Hmlet, in February. It is the second property under Hmlet’s Boutique Collection, following Hmlet Cantonment which was launched in August 2019.

Owen House was first announced by Hmlet in November 2022. It is a project done in partnership with real estate companies TCRE Partners and JMD Group.

“We have conceptualised Owen House by Hmlet as our first hotel to cater to the growing need for flexible stay experiences,” says Giselle Makarachvili, CEO of Hmlet in a Jan 10 statement. “This strategic move reinforces Hmlet’s role as a thoughtful steward of flexible accommodation and co-living solutions for a new generation of travellers.”

The 106-room hotel is located at 2 Owen Road, close to Farrer Park MRT Station on the North-East Line. A variety of room categories will be offered, including studios and deluxe queen rooms, and two-bedroom suites. Prices start from $142 per night.

The hotel’s design pays homage to the New World Amusement Park, and includes modern art deco influences. It will also have a “lobby-cum-speakeasy bar” which will be open to the public as a co-working space during the day and a cocktail bar at night.
