Hilton Garden Inn opens 50th property in China; ramps up expansion in Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Hilton Garden Inn, a brand under the global hospitality company Hilton, has opened its 50th property in China. Hilton Garden Inn Beijing Haidian Daoxiang Lake is the brand’s first hotel in Beijing.

Hilton Garden Inn is described as an “upscale focused service” brand under Hilton’s umbrella of properties. The hotels incorporate features such as soundproofing in rooms, workspaces, lounge areas, and premium bath amenities. "With Hilton Garden Inn, the brand is optimising the guest experience to offer subtly elevated accommodation and modern amenities that allow travellers to unwind, relax and rejuvenate," says Jenny Milos, Hilton’s vice president of brand management, suites and focused service, Asia Pacific.

The brand now has 970 hotels in 57 countries and territories. Across Asia Pacific, there are 65 Hilton Garden Inn properties in operation, including one in Singapore - Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon, located along Belilios Road.

Hilton says it will ramp up expansion across the Asia Pacific, including growing its presence in China, Thailand and Australia. "As travel recovers strongly across Asia Pacific, Hilton Garden Inn hits a sweet spot for owners and travellers alike,” says Clarence Tan, Hilton’s senior vice president of development, Asia Pacific. The brand currently has over 100 properties in the pipeline for the region.
