SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Grand Hyatt Singapore, located along Scotts Road in the prime Orchard Road area, is set to reopen on July 10 following the completion of the first phase of a multi-year transformation. The hotel closed for renovations in September 2022 that were announced as part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations.

The hotel will be reopened in stages, beginning with the revamped Terrace Wing, fitness centre and pool, local cuisine restaurant Straits Kitchen and Brix bar. Offering 292 rooms, the nature-inspired Terrace Wing includes lush landscaping and rooms with garden access. Rooms come with sizes starting from 452 sq ft and include three presidential suites spanning about 2,713 sq ft.

In August, poolside restaurant Oasis will reopen, followed by Italian eatery Pete’s Place. In October, the hotel will launch Le Pristine Singapore, which replaces Mezza9, in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman, along with a refreshed Martini Bar.

The hotel’s Grand Wing is still closed for refurbishments and is slated to reopen in 2025. Upon completion, Grand Hyatt Singapore will offer a total of 699 rooms and other facilities, including a wellness hub and a new Grand Club Lounge.
