Goplus Security lands $10 million in private III financing round

Web3 cybersecurity provider GoPlus Security has concluded a Private III financing round that attracted several leading venture capitalists. The company raised a total of $10 million to support the development of a modular user security layer for Web3 across various blockchain networks.

The recent capital injection follows previous Private II and Private II+ investment rounds, which raised a total of $25 million led by Binance Labs and Redpoint China in 2023.

The financing round saw participation from prominent funds and institutions, including OKX Ventures, HashKey Capital, Fenbushi, Redpoint China, Web3Port, Animoca Brands, Quantstamp, Undefined Labs, 7UpDAO, Ash Crypto, and Richard Ma.

GoPlus Security improves safety through services like SecWareX, which focus on the end user while also providing advanced resources for developers. Interest in its security data infrastructure has surged, with usage increasing by 50,000 times since 2022 and daily API calls exceeding 21 million.

GoPlus's personal security platform, SecWareX, has registered nearly 10 million wallet addresses and 3 million unique IP users within three months of its launch, including more than 60,000 premium security service subscribers.

The company also employs AI to help the community identify risks associated with tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and malicious tactics. GoPlus collaborates with various blockchains and Risk as a Service (RaaS) providers, including Altlayer, zkSync, Manta, and Scroll.

Mike Lee, Founder of GoPlus Security, stated, “GoPlus Network is a modular user security layer for Web3. It can seamlessly integrate with any public chain, providing comprehensive protection throughout the user's transaction lifecycle. Our platform facilitates an open, permissionless, and user-driven safety network and leverages advanced artificial intelligence technology for comprehensive risk analysis, offering intelligent and efficient security services.”

Dora Yue, Founder of OKX Ventures, commented, “We are excited to partner with GoPlus, a company that shares our vision of a secure and trustworthy blockchain environment. This investment reflects our commitment to empowering projects that prioritize user safety and system integrity.”
