Falcon, a 189-unit apartment in Manchester, UK, will be launching for sale to Singapore buyers during the weekend of March 2 and 3. Comprising a 20-storey tower, the development houses one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and ground-floor commercial units. It is a development by Hong Kong-listed property development and investment company Far East Consortium International (FEC).

The project is in Red Bank, one of seven planned neighbourhoods within the Victoria North regeneration scheme, which will see over 15,000 new homes built across 400 acres (about 162ha) of land. The scheme is a joint venture between FEC and the Manchester City Council. Besides housing, the district will see a new 113-acre parkland dubbed City River Park, transport links and community amenities such as schools and healthcare facilities.

Over 5,000 homes are expected to be built in Red Bank, with Falcon being among the first buildings to launch. The property is situated at the doorstep of City River Park and includes units with private terraces.

“As one of the first developments within Red Bank, Falcon owners will be pioneers within this fast-emerging neighbourhood and a future community comprising more than 40,000 people across Victoria North,” says FEC sales and marketing director Andrew Bradley-Nixon.

“With more than GBP1 billion [$1.7 billion] being invested in the area through our joint venture with Manchester City Council – including the future City River Park – it promises to create a green, well-connected, inner-city district with a thriving sense of community.”

Residents of Falcon will have access to the development’s landscaped podium gardens, as well as facilities at The Clubhouse, a standalone building that will include a residents’ lounge, co-working space, fitness and wellness suite, and restaurant.

Savills Singapore has been appointed as the sole agent for Falcon in Singapore. The launch for the project will be held at the Windows West Room on Level 20 of the Four Seasons Hotel on Orchard Boulevard.

Ruben Koh, senior director and head of international residential sales at Savills Singapore, notes that Falcon’s proximity to the City River Park and retail and F&B spots in the neighbourhood will ensure residents are connected to nature and the community. “Positive rental growth is forecasted as the Manchester population and economy continue to expand,” he adds.
