Other 2023 highlights include:

The Floral Marquee is a hotspot for flower lovers. This year, it will be filled with some of the UK's best rose growers, including Peter Beales, Harkness, Fryer's and Eastcroft Roses, with a special Rose Garden by David Austin Roses.

• Meanwhile, in the Plant Zone, visitors can wander through the exhibits, buy the very best plants and seek expert advice. You'll find drought-tolerant perennials, grasses, dazzling dahlias, and summer flowering bulbs grown by 90 of the UK's best growers. First-time exhibitors include Jurassic Plants and In the Garden.

The Renter's Retreat garden will celebrate growing with limited soil and space. Designed by Zoe Claymore and sponsored by The Wildlife Trusts, the garden will explore how green-fingered tenants can transform small courtyards into beautiful wildlife havens without upsetting landlords.

• Elsewhere, the RHS and BBC Morning Live Budget Friendly Garden will show gardeners how they can use household goods and equipment for cost-effective gardening. These will include the use of cheap and readily-available drought-tolerant plants, as well as recycled materials such as scaffold boards, plant pots and pallets.

• Carol Klein will also be designing a garden at the show. Celebrating plants, the space will be packed full of take-home ideas to inspire everyone to have a go at propagating their own plants. It will be divided into six main habitats — wetland, woodland, hedgerow, meadow, moor and mountain, and seaside — and will showcase some of the plants which thrive in these different settings.
