Ex-SPH top executive Patrick Daniel appointed to SBS Transit’s board
Daniel was the editor-in-chief of SPH media, deputy CEO of SPH, and most recently the interim CEO of SPH Media Trust until 2022.
Former Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) executive Patrick Daniel has been named as an independent non-executive director of SBS Transit, according to an announcement dated Dec 29.
Daniel was the editor-in-chief of SPH media, deputy CEO of SPH, and most recently the interim CEO of SPH Media Trust until 2022. His new appointment will take effect from Jan 1, 2024.
This follows two announcements of the change in leadership at SBS in recent years. Ex-chief executive of SBS Cheng Siak Kian was appointed as the deputy chief executive of ComfortDelGro C52
in March 2022, while member-of-parliament Desmond Choo stepped down on Jan 31, 2022, to join the Economic Development Board.
