DoubleTree by Hilton, the upscale full-service brand by New York-listed global hospitality company Hilton, has surpassed 100 properties in Asia Pacific following new and upcoming openings in Jakarta, Indonesia; Kyoto and Osaka in Japan; Bengaluru, India; and Yantai, China.

In a July 3 press release, Hilton says further growth is on the horizon following the company’s recent move to expand its franchise model in China to include the DoubleTree by Hilton brand. Last October, Hilton said new properties under the Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree by Hilton brands were targeted in key cities and emerging destinations such as Beijing, Shanghai, Haikou, Nanchang and Zhangzhou.

Today, DoubleTree by Hilton has nearly 80 hotels in its Asia Pacific pipeline. Hilton is targeting over 1,000 hotels across its brands in the region by 2025.
