Financial institutions, fintechs, technology providers as well as legal and regulatory experts have formed the Digital Asset Association (DAA), an organisation aiming to bridge the gap between traditional finance and tokenised real-world assets.
The committee includes DigiFT founder and CEO Henry Zhang, Onfet CEO Chia Hock Lai, Tranchess CEO Danny Chong, Banking Circle head of Web3 Daniel Lee, Standard Chartered head of digital assets, trade and working capital Steven Hu and Bright Point International Digital Assets CEO Chang Tze Ching.
The DAA will provide a platform for stakeholders to come together and navigate the landscape with shared expertise to share knowledge and best practices; develop industry standards; advocate for responsible adoption and empower tomorrow’s leaders.
“The launch of DAA is meant to be that platform that empowers the financial services ecosystem to unlock the full potential of tokenisation,” says Zhang.
