Blinken, UAE foreign minister discuss Sudan conflict -State Department
WASHINGTON, Nov 22 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in a call on Wednesday the importance of ending the conflict in Sudan, the State Department said in a statement.
Blinken also welcomed the deal to release hostages held by Hamas in Gaza and reaffirmed the importance of addressing the humanitarian needs in Gaza, the statement said. (Reporting by Costas Pitas, Writing by Eric Beech)
