SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - BHG has announced the opening of a newly revamped Home, Living and Kids department on level three of its Bugis flagship store on July 8, and has planned a lineup of events and promotions to welcome shoppers.

“Following the successful enhancement of the digital experience of the beauty hall on level one, BHG is taking the next step in our transformation journey,” says Udai Kuzru, the managing director of BHG Singapore.

More than 50 new brands will be introduced on level three, such as Dorelan, a premium Italian bedding brand; and new kids’ brands like Kate Spade stationery, Hegen, Bando and Squibbles. BHG aims to transform the department store shopping into a lifestyle experience through the use of immersive and interactive experiential spaces.

A fully equipped Kitchen Studio within the new BHG Home will function as a demonstration space to host culinary events such as an exclusive tie-up with At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy on July 10 and 17.

The new Pillow Gallery and Bedding Gallery will feature detailed explanations and use cases on display. Dimmable lights are used to stimulate a sleeping environment when testing mattresses.

WMF, a designer kitchenware brand, and Akemi, a bed and bath furnishings brand, will each have their own concept showrooms.

Visual installations and experiences are showcased on the shop floor through collaboration with local creatives and industry leaders. Self-checkout kiosks on the second and third floors will ensure a more seamless checkout experience.
