50 Cities Where Housing Costs Are 50% Higher Than The National Average

The recommended 30% of income for housing may be heading up as the cost of housing in America continues to rise. Without appropriate rising wages to match, finding more affordable housing options continues to be difficult for many.

The national average for median housing cost in America is $420,800, but this is not the case in many US cities.

GOBankingRates reviewed the average home value of 50 cities where the housing costs were more than 50% higher than the national average.
