UPDATE 1-HF Sinclair plans refineries to run up to 650,000 bpd in Q2 2024

HOUSTON, May 8 (Reuters) - Independent U.S. refiner HF Sinclair plans to run its refineries between 620,000-650,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the second quarter of 2024, or 91%-96% of their combined capacity of 678,000 bpd, the company said on Wednesday.
The Dallas-based company plans an overhaul at its 145,000 bpd Puget Sound Refinery in Anacortes, Washington, the company said.
Sinclair expects to spend about $800 million in sustaining capital for the full year, including refinery overhauls and catalyst changes, the company said. (Reporting by Erwin Seba in Houston and Nicole Jao in New York)
