Timelapse Shows Snow Squall Barreling Through Eastern Pennsylvania

Northeastern states were slammed with snow squalls on January 20, the National Weather Service said.

Weather enthusiast Alex Schaaf said he filmed the timelapse squall footage in the city of Macungie, Pennsylvania – a suburb of Allentown. “This was one of the most intense snow squalls I’ve seen,” Schaaf wrote in a Twitter caption. “Absolute white out conditions. Nothing really stuck with temps above freezing, but visibility was reduced quite a bit for a short time.”
