Rain transformed into snow during chilly weather in Greenville, North Carolina, overnight on Thursday, January 28, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said Greenville saw about two inches of snow accumulation as of Thursday morning, with some parts of the state receiving up to five inches.
