Large plumes of smoke wafted above parts of Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties on May 12, as a wildfire prompted evacuations in Pinon Hills.
According to the Los Angeles County fire department, as of Thursday night the fire stood at 450 acres and was 40% contained. At least one structure was destroyed.
