Police in Riot Gear Disperse Crowd Near London Eye

Police in riot gear dispersed a crowd gathered near the London Eye on June 12 after some there began “throwing items” at officers on patrol.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were approached by a large group of people who began “throwing items towards them”.

The force said one person was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
