Facebook Whistleblower Answers Questions From UK Parliament's Joint Online Safety Committee

Former Facebook employee and whistleblower Frances Haugen answered questions from the UK Parliament’s Joint Online Safety Committee in London on October 25.

Haugen — an American data scientist who released internal Facebook documents to the media and the US government’s Securities and Exchange Commission — answered questions from members of parliament and gave her opinions on the company’s internal workings and safety measures in regards to child safety, misinformation, and extremism.
