Blue Ridge Fire Scorches Land Near Homes in Southern California

The Blue Ridge Fire blackened land near homes in Southern California as firefighters continued to battle the blaze on October 28, fire officials said.

The fire in Orange County scorched at least 14,000 acres and was 16 percent contained as of Wednesday morning, according to the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA). At least seven structures were damaged and one was destroyed, according to fire officials.

The OCFA shared this footage on Wednesday of homes firefighters defended from the Blue Ridge Fire.
