This Growth Stock Is Effectively Grappling With Inflation, but Should Investors Buy Now?

Pet goods retailer Chewy (NYSE: CHWY) has so far been effectively managing the impacts of inflation, but does this mean that investors should buy its stock now? In its fiscal 2022 first quarter, which ended on May 1, Chewy's gross profit margin declined by 10 basis points to 27.5%. Given those and other inflationary pressures, it's impressive that Chewy managed its profit margins as well as it did.

Why Sea Limited Declined by 19.1% in June

Sea's shares had declined in line with the continued fall in the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 index. Year to date, the Nasdaq has fallen close to 30% while the bellwether S&P 500 has fallen by 20.2%, putting both indices firmly in a bear market. It didn't help that Sea Limited also released a downbeat set of earnings for its 2022 first quarter.

Obviously, growth in excess of 100% can't go on forever, but that doesn't mean it's time to completely write off these businesses.
