Dipped the toe in with a purchase of 50 shares at $200. Feeling this must be near the bottom with a lot of upside from here.

Netease is not just a China play, but a global play now.

Netease had expanded its two hot games to a lot of more countries now and they are growing like wild fire.

The game HY.163 is called Knives Out in English. This game is still in Beta in China. But it is already been released in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand. This game is currently the number 3 ranked game in Japan, number 1 in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and number 8 in Thailand.

The game T2.163 is called Rules of Survival in English. It is been released in a lot more countries in the world. But many to name. But I will just give the ranking to the more important countries. This game is currently number 1 in United States, 1st in Australia, 9th in Brazil, 1st in Canada, 1st in France, 1st in Germany, 13th in Indonesia, 1st in New Zealand, 3rd in Philippines, 2nd in Thailand, 9th in Turkey, 4th in United Kingdom, and 1st in Vietnam.

There are a more countries, but I won't list them.

What is more impressive is that Rules of Survival (T2.163) only has the Chinese, English, Japanese, and German version available. So for countries not speaking those languages, this game can go a lot further once Netease localize the game to these countries.

From the earning conference, analysts working for the investment companies are following these two games and understands the reason for recent up trend in stock price. But the reporters working for the financial news (such as Yahoo, Bloomberg, etc.) have no clue. In addition, the global expansion of these two games happened in the last 3 days. Therefore, a lot of great news haven't been priced in yet.

NetEase price target raised to $139 from $133 at UBS 06:33 NTES UBS analyst Corrine Hu raised the firm's price target on NetEase to $139 from $133 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after its Q1 earnings beat. The company's legacy games maintained a healthy revenue growth in the quarter while its new games, like Revelation Mobile, proved to be "successful", the analyst tells investors in a research note. Hu adds that NetEase remains one of her top online gaming plays because of the company's promising outlook with a "solid" portfolio and an advanced track record of innovation.

Good Morning while the EPS was a blow out, Rev was a disappointment and I don't think the regular dividend we just received and will be maintained. I am delighted about the special dividend as I had said we should be entitled to about a month ago from the fire sale of assets.

Conference call for those of you that did not listen too was hard to follow and while they seemed positive on upcoming games coming out next month I think they need something more. I found the call flat and lacking what the next course of action will be. The div and new buy back will keep a floor on the stock so that will frustrate the shorts. Only time will tell what their next course of action will be I would stay the course. Trade negotiations should not have real effect of the business (don't think there will EVER be a trade deal) they just get caught up because of their nationality. Good luck to us longs.

nice gain today, very undervalued. 2021 should be a nice year with gaming booming even more

If the Chinese government is putting a halt to new games this makes it harder for new entrants to enter the market. Good for guys like Tencent and NetEase.
