My view, As a small business we ship goods from China within Asia. All shipments in the last 6 months, suppliers choose to ship with FedEx instead of DHL. Never happen before bc it's cheaper and quicker

Paid for overnight service, next day checked tracking at 530pm. Delivery not attempted. This company has operational issues. 3 other people in the station with the same message.

May buy back FDX for the Christmas shipping trade and the oil price drop adds to its attractiveness. Will monitor the coming week's performance.

Earnings up approximately 10% over the last year and the stock is down 20%. Someone is in control.

Only 9 more days to find out if management righted the ship and increased prices and shed low margin business to free up capacity, or if they missed consensus EPS again. If they missed again and blame it on much higher wages, then their management is clearly incompetent. All they had to do was to give their low margin customers 30 days notice that pricing was being cancelled on lanes where they were out of capacity to avoid having to hire employees at much higher wage rates. If their management is competent, which is a BIG IF having listened to the Q&A of their previous earnings calls, then we should see less growth, higher prices, and higher profit margins than last quarter when they report on Dec 16th.

I wonder if Amazon is actually an existential threat to FedEx and UPS, or is there more than enough demand...

UPS driver just delivered a package to my house and told him I have to return shipment. He asked "Why"? Told him I just bought FDX stock this afternoon not UPS. We both laughed like hell and he left!

CNBC just did story on UPS driver training. Near the end of the story, the reporter stated that UPS's average price increase was up 12% last quarter, whereas FDX was only up 10%. That extra 2% in price to offset the much higher wages and other inflation is the primary reason for FDX missing the consensus EPS last quarter, and why the stock plummeted. If wages were $450 million higher than expected last quarter, which is what FDX reported, guess what happens to that gap had they increased their prices by 2% more last quarter to match what UPS did?

All the negative fdx & ups news continues to strengthen amazon’s business model. Amazon sits back and collects margin increments. Marketing department dream brought to you by logistics…

Pre-market down on FDX but new variant will 1) reduce airline competition 2) lower fuel cost 3) potential increase ship home 4) further strain naval shipping causing more short term $FDX may open down but expect it to rally once people think through implications.

Donald doesn't think this is worth investing in. I disagree.
We will see who is right and who is 100% wrong.
Pack it, Ship it, ring the register, compile the financials, report the financials. Then we will know.

This stock has been a disaster since July....gone nowhere but down, down, down. Not sure when it's going to bottom out, but it's got a long, long way to go to get back even to where it was in the middle of the summer.

Taper is not affected FDX, which is undervalued for long time.
The prize giving and ER on Dec, which are the big power to support FDX climbing to $300 in the end of 2021.

I called customer service.... WOW what a HORRIBLE COMPANY! I told them that the package that was supposed to have been dropped off just a few minutes earlier was NOT there.... The woman told me to contact the person who shipped it... I said its NOT their fault that you did NOT deliver the package... and asked for a supervisor... She REFUSED
    = DONE WITH FEDEX FOREVER!!!!
