Alior Bank Q1 profit surges 58% as it aims to keep CoR at bay
Net interest income rose 15% to 1.27 billion zlotys and net interest margin climbed 15 basis points to 5.96%, Alior said. The lender managed to improve its credit portfolio quality and increase its size.

Poland's Alior Bank plans first dividend after record profit
Polish lender Alior Bank said on Wednesday it planned to earmark 570 million zlotys ($143.29 million) for its first-ever dividend payout, after its annual net profit nearly tripled. "DPS (dividend per share) may reach 4.4 zlotys, which would imply a dividend yield of 5%," Erste Group analyst Lukasz Janczak said. Alior Bank shares opened 1.1% higher and were 1.0% up at 0921 GMT.
