Singapore-based renewables firm EDPR Sunseap has more than doubled its installed solar capacity in the Asia-Pacific region since last year and is looking at new investment opportunities to more than double it again to 2.4 gigawatts (GW) by 2026. Portugal's EDP Group, which acquired Sunseap in February 2022, said in a statement on Thursday the unit's capacity was now above 1 GW, which EDP Chief Executive Officer Miguel Stilwell called a "significant milestone" for growth.
