Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Secures 11 Contracts Worth US$626 million

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has secured contracts for 11 vessels worth US$626 million, ending the year with a total of 37 shipbuilding contracts worth US$2.25 billion. The latest contract includes six containerships, two self-unloading vessels and three combination carriers.

There was a contract termination for a bulk carrier in 4Q15, the termination was replaced with new orders for three combination carriers as stated above by the same customer, it was also agreed that the 10 percent deposit received for the terminated contract will be taken as a compensation. The contracts are scheduled for deliveries in 2018.
