World's 10 safest airlines excludes Singapore Airlines

Cathay Pacific ranked third.

Germany-based the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre (JACDER) ranked Finnair as the world’s safest airline.

JACDER recently published its annual Safety Index which highlights its analysis of all seriouus incidents suffered by airlines since 1983, including the number of miles flown by each carrier.

World's top 10 safest airlines are:

1. Finnair
2. Air New Zealand
3. Cathay Pacific
4. Emirates
5. Etihad
6. EVA Air
7. TAP Portugal
8. Hainan Airlines
9. Virgin Australia
10. British Airways

Singapore Airlines was ranked 30th.
