Vicky McClure shares cute photo with her grandparents

Line of Duty star Vicky McClure has been reunited with her grandparents - and has shared a cute picture to celebrate.

The actor, who played DI Kate Fleming in the BBC series was delighted to have a socially distanced meet up with her grandparents, and they enjoyed a cup of tea on their doorstep. Vicky beamed in the photo, captioning it, "Well, this just filled my heart with joy!!!"

It'll likely be one of the few times Vicky's been able to see her grandparents since the pandemic began, and it's clear that family is very important to her.

Last month Vicky posted a sweet throwback to celebrate her sister Jenny's 40th birthday.

"Happy 40th Birthday to my big Sis!!!!" she wrote on Instagram. "Jenny I bloody love you! There’s no one as loyal, strong, beautiful and has THE greatest laugh as you sis!! You are the best of us!! I’m the luckiest sister ever, hands down, they don’t come better than you!! Have the best day, you deserve it all!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!"

On Tuesday (11 May), Vicky helped open this year's BRIT Awards with her Line of Duty co-star Martin Compston and viral Handforth Parish Council icon Jackie Weaver.
