YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) _ United Community Financial Corp. (UCFC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $9.5 million.

The Youngstown, Ohio-based company said it had net income of 19 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $33.8 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $27.8 million.

United Community Financial shares have increased slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $9.14, a decrease of 8 percent in the last 12 months.
