Unit with panoramic views at Scotts Square for sale at $5.188 mil

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - A three-bedroom apartment at Scotts Square, on Scotts Road, has been put on the market for $5.188 million ($4,154 psf). It is being exclusively marketed by Tristar Properties.

The 1,249 sq ft unit on the 38th floor of the freehold development faces the landed residential enclave of Jalan Jintan and Jalan Lada Puteh. Thus, it enjoys unobstructed views of the Orchard Road vicinity, and views that extend as far as Marina Bay.

The unit has a squarish and efficient layout. The master bedroom and one common bedroom enjoy the same panoramic views as the living room. As the unit enjoys private lift access and does not face neighbouring units, it enjoys high levels of privacy, says Sean Huang, lead consultant at Tristar Properties.

The residential block is adjacent to a boutique luxury mall at Scotts Square. The mall is home to high-fashion brands Alexander McQueen and Christian Louboutin, as well as F&B outlets including Lady M cafe, London Fat Duck and Wild Honey cafe. There are also FairPrice Finest and Guardian stores in the basement.

The unit was previously bought for $5.27 million ($4,221 psf) in August 2007. It is now selling with vacant possession.

“The unit is very well-kept and is in a move-in condition,” says Huang, who expects to receive interest from affluent locals and foreigners who want to be located in the Orchard Road area. Scotts Square is a short two-minute walk to Orchard MRT Station, and is within minutes by foot to nearby malls such as Paragon, Ion Orchard and Takashimaya.

Scotts Square is a 338-unit project by Wharf Estates Singapore. The 43-storey building was completed in 2011. Residents at Scotts Square enjoy concierge services, a sky pool and jacuzzi on the 35th floor, as well as a gym, lap pool, and wading pool on the eighth floor. There is also a reading and business room on the eighth floor.
